Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944) was born in Lyons, France. He wrote The Little Prince in the United States during a two-year self-imposed exile from occupied France. Best known throughout the world as the author and illustrator of The Little Prince, Saint-Exupery wrote several other books that have also become classics of world literature. Ma, la soucietà Latécoère fa fahita : estacat à Air-France en 1935, prova de batre lou record Paris-Saïgon en avioun. Ma la tentativa s'es mau terminada. En 1938, prova de religà New-York à la Tierra de Fuego. Blessat gravament, passa de Jonc més de counvalescença à New-York. Publica en 1939 Terre des hommes.
